Currency ConverterRates are in US Dollar *Rates may vary according to season CONTACT US FOR A FREE QUOTATION Flights (return); UK - MW; from £ 865 USA - MW; from $ 1750 EUR - MW; from € 1035 Subject to availability & T&C's DAY 1: SOUTH LUANGWA » Meet at 08:30 in the morning, a free collection service is offered to clients in Lilongwe » Depart Lilongwe at 09:00, continue to Mchinji, 1 and 1/2 hr drive » Here we complete immigration formalities and continue to Mwami - the Zambian border, from the border it is a short drive to Chipata - Zambia's capital of the Eastern Province » Proceed on a dirt road to Luangwa Valley - Mfuwe sector » A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route and ETA at the Lodge is mid afternoon » On arrival we check into our chalets followed by tea and coffee » Thornicroft Lodge DAYS 2,3: SOUTH LUANGWA » After a continental breakfast we depart for a morning drive at 06:00 » All game drives are undertaken in specially modified safari vehicles, to optimise your pleasure and experience » Drinks and snacks are taken along for your enjoyment whilst in the park » Depending on game sightings, we return to the lodge at 11:00 for a scrumptious "brunch" » An afternoon rest, swim, and tea then we again head out for our afternoon/ night drive at around 16H00 - returning to the lodge at 20H00 » Dinner » Thornicroft Lodge DAY 4: LAKE MALAWI » This morning you have a more relaxing start to the day, breakfast then pack up and return back to Lilongwe » A picnic lunch is eaten en route » From Lilongwe we continue for 1.1/2 hrs to Lake Malawi and Senga Bay » On arrival board and set sail on the magnificent 38' full live aboard catamaran the "MUFASA" - the only live aboard yacht on Lake Malawi » Fully crewed with skipper, deck hand and chef, you will sail in comfort, luxury and style » There are 4 double cabins with 2 bathrooms, galley and saloon » Depending on weather conditions, sail towards and weigh anchor in a sheltered lee of the Maleri Islands » Afternoon spent swimming and exploring the area » Overnight yacht on full board basis DAYS 5,6: LAKE MALAWI » Early morning swims and hot showers are the perfect start to your day » Lie out on the front trampoline basking in the sun, listen to the water lapping beneath you as you sail towards Cape Maclear and Lake Malawi National Park » Snorkel, scuba dive, fish, swim and listen to the cry of the fish eagle whilst you enjoy top cuisine and watch wonderful sunsets from the patio of the Lodge at Cape Maclear » Aspiring and experienced sailors have plenty of opportunity to take the helm and hone their sailing skills and the days are spent pursuing your choice of activity(Sailing, yachting, swimming snorkeling, water skiing, scuba diving, mountain biking etc) » Overnight Danforth Lodge at Cape Maclear on full board basis inclusive all activities DAY 7: END OF SAFARI » Today we co- ordinate your sail back towards Senga Bay to transfer to the vehicle that brings you back to Lilongwe in time for your return flight or onward travel The above Luangwa and Sailing rates are inclusive of: -» All transport Lilongwe return » 5 nights lodge + 1 night yacht accommodation » All meals » 4 game drives » All water sports inclusive scuba diving and water-skiing Excludes » Drinks » Visa fees (if applicable) » Luangwa Park fees » Booking Conditions |
